Come Steak It is run by a small ranch team, not a data company. Here's exactly what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you claim a share, buy ground beef, join the waitlist, or send us a message, we collect your name, email, and phone number (phone is optional unless you want text updates). Order details, like which share you claimed and the pickup arrangements, are stored alongside that. We don't collect a shipping address; everything here is picked up in person.
Payment information
Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; Stripe passes us only the confirmation that a payment went through, plus the amount and order it's tied to.
Why we collect it
To take your order, send receipts and pickup updates, remind you about balances or pickup times by email or text, and answer questions you send through the contact form.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the ranch and the site: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Twilio for text messages if you gave us a phone number. We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Cookies and tracking
The customer-facing site doesn't use tracking cookies or ad pixels. The only cookie in play keeps our own admin team logged into the ranch's order-management tools; it has nothing to do with your visit.
Your data, your call
Email hello@comesteakit.com any time to see what we have on file, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll take care of it personally, usually the same day.
Changes to this page
If how we handle your information changes, we'll update this page. Come Steak It is a small, hands-on operation, so this policy stays short on purpose: we only collect what it takes to get you your beef.
