Good stewards of good land.

In 2023 we packed up and moved our family to East Texas. We'd talked about it for years, and we finally just did it. Our goal was simple: live off the land, and do it the right way.

To us, raising cattle is a holistic thing. Our animals, the pasture, the soil, and the families eating what we grow are all connected. We try to make every decision with that in mind.

Our cattle have never had a vaccine, a hormone, or an antibiotic. Not one. That's not a selling point for us, it's just what we believe. When you start patching things with medicine, you stop building real health. We'd rather do the harder work of getting it right from the start.

The cattle do what cattle are supposed to do. They graze, they stomp around, and their manure goes right back into the ground. That feeds the soil, the soil grows better grass, the grass feeds healthier animals, and on it goes. No pesticides, no herbicides, nothing added. It's the cycle God put in place, and we just try not to mess it up.

As a family we feel like this land is something we've been given to take care of. We want to leave it better than we found it, and we want our kids to grow up knowing where their food comes from and what it takes to raise it well.

We sell shares of real animals raised right here. Once a board fills we take the steer to our local abattoir and you pick up your beef. No stores, no middlemen. You can always ask us anything about how it was raised, because we were the ones out there with it every day.
